Christine Eckstaedt ran 5:35 to win the first race of the evening, the women's mile, but Sarah Spalding outkicked Bryan Hickman in the open mile, 5:11 to 5:12, in the fastest women's mile of the meet.
Ted Poulos won both the masters mile and masters 3000-meter. Kyle Mangum came from behind to win the elite mile, passing Joe Racine in the final lap. Luke Merkel, in town from college for the summer, won the open 3000-meter, and Kathrin Stucke finished third overall to win the women's division.
